Description
This is a DC worm gear motor with N20 encoder.
It is also available without encoder.
The outer diameter of the N20 motor is 12mm*10mm, the motor length is 15mm, and the length of the gearbox is 18mm (the gearbox can also hold an N10 motor or an N30 motor).
The motor consists of a metal brushed DC motor with a precision metal reducer. The worm gear has small size and large gear ratio.
The DC motor technology is relatively mature, inexpensive and simple to drive and control. With a gear box, the torque is greatly increased, the speed is reduced, and it is easy to control!
The following worm gearbox gear ratios are available.

When changing the drive voltage, or changing the motor winding parameters, the motor will have different characteristics, this curve is for reference.
N20 DC motor can also be matched with GB12 gearbox, 1024GB gearbox, As shown in the figure:

About DC motor structure
The above diagram shows the basic structure of a DC brushed motor.
This type of DC motor is composed of a stator, rotor, brushes and commutator. The mutual driving of the stator and rotor magnetic fields drive the motor to rotate. When they start and run, the brush part generates sparks and is not suitable for use in special applications.
The relative movement of brushes and commutator is easy to wear, and the life time of DC brushed motor with common structure is generally not very long, usually 200~2000 hours. For customers who have strict life time requirement for motor, it is recommended to choose stepper motor.

Samples are packed in foam sponge with a paper box, shipped by express
Mass production, motors are packed in corrugated cartons with transparent film outside. (shipping by air)
If shipped by sea, product will be packed on pallets

On samples and air shipping, we use Fedex/TNT/UPS/DHL. (5~12 days for express service)
For sea shipping, we use our shipping agent, and ship from Shanghai port. (45~70 days for sea shipping)

We don’t have MOQ, and you can order only one piece sample.
But we recommend you to order a little bit more, just in case the motor is damaged during your testing, and you can have a back-up.
